 The Immersion Research Forward Adjust Reggie Backband is the original ratchet backband. This is a Reggie backband that comes with all of the parts necessary to replace your current forward adjust backband system. Forward adjust means that the backband adjustment mechanism is on the thigh brace, like you see in many Jackson and Pyranha cockpits. It is NOT recommended to use this in boats that were not originally designed as forward-adjust. In many cases, the thigh braces in these boats were not designed to withstand the pressure applied to a backband.
